Van Wastell was an incredibly talented skater and all around awesome person and I am very grateful for every time I got to skate, film and hang out with him. Here he is getting into and grinding a kickflip to one-footed 50-50 down a handrail in San Francisco, back in 2005. He never rode away from it this day, but these attempts were still amazing none the less. RIP Van, you will always be missed and never forgotten!
